As our thoughts race and our brains keep screaming to stay vigilant, it can be so hard to take even a single moment to just… pause. Right now, do yourself a favor and try something not-so-new but let’s be honest, it’s often dismissed.

Stop.
Close your eyes, or look up at the sky.
Take a breath.
Then another.
And then four more.

It’s hard, we deeply, truly know. But your world will not come crashing down if you take a pause. Fight the story your brain is telling you right now. Create a tiny bit of space for the other part of your mind, the one that’s struggling for change. To plant some roots. To strengthen its voice.
